Breaking: Jets’ Key Player Ruled Out for Rest of 2025 Before Critical Revenge match

It remains uncertain whether Aaron Rodgers will return to the field in 2025. However, he may have hinted at a reunion with his former team, the New York Jets, sooner than expected. According to Nick Farabaugh of Penn Live, Rodgers was in Austin, Texas, attending a friend’s event where he participated in an open Q&A session. When a young fan asked if he would ever join the Chicago Bears, Rodgers replied, “No, but I think there’s a team that might play in Chicago this year. Maybe a road game. I’ll have to look into it.”

This comment quickly sparked speculation online. Jack Sperry of Chat Sports suggested it might be a clue that Rodgers plans to sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers. NFL Insider James Palmer pointed out that the Steelers are set to face the Bears in Chicago on November 23.

Clues continue to pile up. Rodgers has only visited one team during his free agency period: the Steelers. He’s also been seen practicing with wide receiver DK Metcalf—who was recently traded to Pittsburgh.

Adding to the speculation, the Steelers are scheduled to open the season with a road game against the Jets. Rodgers, a four-time NFL MVP, spent the past two seasons with the Jets but left on a sour note, taking only a box of personal belongings with him.

Davante Adams recalled a conversation with Rodgers in Las Vegas, where Rodgers played golf on a Wednesday before meeting with the Jets the next day. After the meeting, Rodgers was visibly upset and canceled plans to golf again, telling Adams the experience was “horrible” and that he felt disrespected.
